HY Energy designed and constructed the first pure wind powered complete off-grid power system for landscape lighting in 2010 during Shanghai Expo, which is also the first only wind powered landscape lighting project. Project total 33KW wind power composed of 11pcs of HY-3000 wind turbine, project built by the side of Binjiang river where has annual wind speed of 4m/s, the whole system powers total 260 lights of Binjiang Eco-green park, system electronic control unit (timer controlled lighting) is designed to fit into a glass-covered rainproof cabinet and the battery banks is hidden beneath the wooden bench, so the whole project could look nice and tidy, this project has set an good example of renewable energy powered landscape project in China.
